Bridezilla Presents The Best of Bridal Fashion Week

Reem Acra is unbearably amazing.
We dig New York Weddings because it has a little something that most wedding mags lack – that magic air of sophistication that automatically comes along with anything nearing the 212 area code. More than just a vendor guide for locals, this magazine offers inspiration for gorgeous weddings whether you're a Gramercy Park keyholder, commuting in from Jersey City, or holding it down for Midwestern Bridezillas in Topeka, Kansas. One of their most appreciable qualities at the moment is their coverage of Bridal Fashion Week, which is like normal Fashion Week only made just for us. And other brides-to-be, we guess. Whatever.

Let the fittings begin...

with a favorite dress from the best collections!

Carolina Herrera:

Carolina Herrera is the master of sleek pieces that are office-appropriate and sophisticated without being stuffy, and it's a thrill to see her embrace lace with this girly pretty gown with gorgeous chiffon and lace overlay. Something about this wedding dress translates easily from the cathedral to the forest - maybe it's that we're practically looking for fairy wings to wear with it. Ethereal beauties take note, this is your gown.

Reem Acra:

This knockout collection makes us wish we had three or four weddings to plan for ourselves - or 26, which is the full number of gorgeous dresses in this set. Choosing just one was nearly impossible (in fact, it was impossible - the dress above the cut is also Reem Acra), but it's the inclusion of these fabulous chiffon sleeves that did it. They're less unwieldy than gloves and though it's a style we haven't seen before, it somehow feels impossibly classic. We love this strapless look here, but do investigate the entire collection, as it's enough to have us considering extra husbands.

This upstart designer brings a pleasantly quirky sensibility to her collection, emphasizing sculptural ruffles and unique shapes like this dreamy draped number.
