Cheating? Maybe. But for these kids, we’ll make an exception. Real Bridezillas they may not be (yet), but they’ve got the fighting spirit we can get behind! Australian indie kids Bridezilla have been howling their way through opening slots on tours and they’re about to make a splash at the big deal Sydney music festival Big Day Out. Looking like a bunch of misplaced MisShapes and featuring fierce frontwoman Holiday Sidewinder, Daisy Tulley on violin, Millie Hall on saxophone and keyboard, lead guitarist Pia May, and Josh Bush on drums, this quintet earns the name Bridezilla, and that’s not something we’d say lightly. The ideal wedding band? Maybe not. But we wish we’d been displaying that much sass (onstage, at least) when we were sixteen. Best of luck to you, Bridezilla.
