Australian bridal designer Johanna Johnson is bringing back 1920s and 30s art deco in a big way.  When she was searching for her own wedding gown she was let down by the lack of options.  Having a graphic design background, she sketched her own gown and hired an experienced seamstress to bring it to life.  Johnson knew there were more women out there like herself, so in 2005 she launched her label.  She has been immersed in a love affair of bringing old Hollywood to the red carpet’s new Hollywood and high-class glamour to brides ever since.

    • I love how she adds chunky jewels that give the dress an edginess without distracting from the vintage styling. My favorite is the third photo (starting from the very top). The heavy collar is just gorgeous and unexpected at a wedding.
