In honor of the many fashion week shows that have been and will be kicked off shortly, I bring you a gift of inspiration for the truly daring bridezillas.  Haute couture, especially straight from the runway, is definitely tricky to bring into real life.  If you want a high fashion, maximum impact, never-to-be-forgotten wedding however, the runway is destination number one.  As with most couture pieces it’s all about finding inspiration, then searching and digging to hopefully uncover a fabulously affordable wedding gown that encompasses the mood the couture number evoked.  You never know what you will come up with given the right inspiration.

    • My absolute favorite is the last one by Dior. It’s like a fashion book from the 50s come to life.

Interesting side note, since I didn’t know until after I wrote the article, the first model in the white and sheer Jean Paul Gaultier dress with plumage headpiece is actually a male model. I don’t know how they turned him into the perfect hourglass, but he definitely makes a stunning bride!
